Modern European Kitchens need not require high-end cleaning agents and equipment. Most of the time, keeping your kitchen clean is really simple and quick. By observing these tips, you can most likely maintain the same look and feel of your well-designed kitchen the first time you cooked in it.

Choosing the right cleaners can keep the modern kitchen of yours neat and great to work in everyday.

Inspect your cleaning agents to make sure you will not be damaging the materials used for setting up your kitchen. Identify the different types of surfaces you have and pick the appropriate cleaning agent for each. Remember that kitchen cleaning products that are perfect for stainless steel can harm marble or tile, and vice versa. For some quick freshening, Citrus-based cleaners will do the job except for your dishwasher and refrigerator. This type of cleaners may contain petroleum distillates which can destroy the rubber gaskets that seal them tight.

Shaving cream is an effective stain remover. Just rub it onto the stained surface and allow it to stay for 20 minutes. You will be surprised that once you wipe it away, the tough stains on hard surfaces will be gone!

Use boiling water and let it sit on stove covers, stainless steel sinks and cook tops when cleaning them. Wipe away or scrub it with a soft and safe cleaning agent that will not damage the shiny surface of these kitchen areas.

For refrigerators, you can let go of unpleasant odors, empty your fridge and take hold of your friendly foam cleaner. Clean the inside walls and the rubber area around the door.

For your microwave, you can use boiling water (just a half-filled cup), scrub it on the stained surface then use the regular spray cleaner. Boiling water are supposed to steam-clean hard to remove stains.

The best tip is regular cleaning. The basic spray cleaner is perfect for most surfaces. Once sprayed, allow it to stay on the surface for five minutes. Do not use abrasive or strong chemicals on polished or shiny surfaces.

Modern European kitchens do not require expensive cleaning practices. Being resourceful in choosing the right cleaning agent is basically the key. Regular kitchen cleaning is the best advice, as well.
